Hunt MH CM-Hawaii, LLC approached Plas-Tech Ltd with a unique project with special circumstances and requirements. Hunt was tasked with upkeep and maintenance of 23 historically revelent houses on the Kaneohe Marine Base as part of a maintenance project of officers' housing units. A continuously maintenance issue were wooden screen frames constantly in need of repair or replacement because of proximaty to the coast line and the salty tradewind weather. Working alongside with Hunt Companies and Mason Architects, we were able to develop a product that met the historic requirements, was composite based, required little to no maintenance and was easy to install and maintain. After an initial trial unit was completed and successfully tested, screen frames for the remaining 22 houses, including the General's Quarters, were manufactured in our facility and delivered to the customer.
