Seabee Monument Mold and training of Government Personnel
A cooperative effort between the Self-Help Seabee Unit of the USNavy, Pearl Harbor Hawaii resulted in the development of a mold and one new fiberglass Seabee Monument to replace the deteriorated monument at the Navy Base. Molds or the existing monument were taken, and through a true team effort Plas-Tech Ltd made new molds, produced a replacement monument and also trained a group of Seabees to build additional monuments for other Seabee installations around the world.
