Walter Murray Gibson Building Structure Improvements
This historic property underwent repair and renovation in 2017. Part of the construction required the replacement of the concrete grille and top rail which was badly spalled. Because of the limited access to the grille, careful coordination between Architect Next Design, Contractor Starcom Builders, and fabricator Plas-Tech Ltd ensured that there would be proper fit on the first try minimizing any road closures and impact on neighboring properties. The team effort resulted in an accurate reproduction with a perfect fit with no issues. A truly remarkable effort with limited ability to get hands on the actual opening.
